Been a while but we're getting closer every weekend...
Finished up everything to do with the engine...lines, fluids, ect. Wired in the bigger injectors and just need to tuck and tidy everything up. Currently waiting on MBH Xpipe and ObD HPTuner. Have to repair the front pump on my transmission but that shouldn't be an issue.
I'm not really loving how the stock airboxes look with the gold accents. Will most likely be changing them to a different color soon when I can find the time to actually paint them the right way. Might consider carbon replacements in the future but saving up for a big change to the aesthetic of the car and to also be able to help put the power down. Stay tuned!

on the plastic use one of those stiff sponges and black or gold paint and just dab the AMG logo, really makes it pop. maybe a gold center star too

Also you can buy a replacement AMG handcrafted logo at Mercedes they charge like $150 and need your vin so it will be the original builder, takes about 2 weeks, also here is an example of the AMG painted in mine so you can see how it looks

Chain Tensioner
So I finished my engine rebuild and did my first start up. It sounds amazing. I had a small oil leak coming from the chain tensioner. I know I torqued it to spec but my question is... is the chain tensioner on the m156 a one time use part? I had to take it out during the rebuild after it had already been torqued to spec so it has been torqued twice. Thanks for the help!

The subtle yellowing of the Carbonios actually match really nicely with the bronze accents in your engine bay. Enjoy!
