Fog Light Warning

Fog Light Warning
The right hand side fog light on a 2012 W204 Facelift c63 is not working. The left hand side is working fine. I know that the fog comes on with the direction of the steering wheel in some cases but this is not that. The fog light is persistently off. There is no error/warning message on the cluster/odometer. Is this normal?
I'm interested in purchasing the vehicle but not sure why there is no warning/error message regarding the fog light.

Generally these are just called DRLs (daytime running light)
The passenger side should be part number 204-906-49-02. It's been my experience that these can fail without any warning/error messages, yes.
There's forum posts here on how to get to and replace. It's easiest with the bumper off, but I think some mad lad's been able to do it without, but google will answer that part better than I could.
While you're down there though, you may want to think about replacing the chrome-painted bit. The 507's had that part in black and it does make a pretty decent change to the car IMHO.
Good luck
