KWs installed on my c63 BS
My brakes were due for a change, so I went ahead and also replaced the stock suspensions with new KW coils. Given that the stock BS set came from KW, it was an easy choice for me to go with them for the replacement.
The hard choice then was to choose between the V3 vs. the DDC options. Since the car is not my daily, I went ahead and picked the V3 due to its simpler installation (avoid cutting and running wires through the trunk, etc.) and the idea that it’ll keep the car more mechanical, with less electronically control components.
There was a noticeable difference in feel and handling. The car is more settled in the rear, still firm but less harsh overall. This is very noticeable when driving over bumpy surfaces like railroad tracks. It also sits a bit lower now. Can’t wait until the warmer weather comes around to be able to run them in a bit harder.

were the KW's that came on the BS's adjustable in damping and rebound? I always thought they were Variant3's?

stock rears are height adjustable, but that's it, damping (hard/soft) adjustable only in the front; this is very different than the CLK63BS that has front AND rear damping adjustment.

Looks great, I think you should have opted for KW Clubsports though as the come with a linear springs and adjustable top mounts for camber. I chose these for my C63 and they are great.
Do you have an IG and post pictures of the car? Id love to follow a black series on IG.

I don't recall the exact numbers, but it's about 2/3 down to the lowest setting.
That's a good option too. My IG is set up for my art work and no cars stuff at all, so I don't think you'd be in to that.
I think it's a good height too. Not too low where I'd worry about driving the vehicle to new places.

I don't have the numbers as I told my shop to set it at "something a bit lower than stock, but still allow my to drive around town without being paranoid about clearing every slanted drive ways or surfaces". These V3s has a good amount of adjustments (one can do it with the equipped tool), but I would say that it's currently about 2/3 of the way from being all the way down.

That is not correct. The rears are both compression and rebound adjustable. In the trunk you have to remove small removable panels to access the top of the shock and adjust it. Then from underneath the car you can adjust the shock too. I've adjusted both settings. . on the car pictured

@Lizard looking good! I miss the car. I sold too soon! But I'm happy it's been in good hands.

I daydream from time to time. I noticed a new add to your signature/profile. My top two choices are W204 C63 sedan and funny enough an LC500. I'll have to give you a call one day and ask you about your impressions!
