Has anyone attempted this mod, because I really hate those parking lights I feel like it ruins the look of the lights, would better be suited without them.

I'm going to tint the inside of the parking light section of the lens when I replace the lenses. I'll post pics when I do.

Nobody has used like. Resister to trick it, I can almost bet anyone that the car never needed those eye lids

Take a flathead screwdriver and press it into an led bulb. Test it, then keep trying until it no longer lights up. The car will read it as "working" and you won't have any light shining through. Works for the sidemarkers as well.

just press it as in let the metal contact it, don’t break it right ?

Nope, break that b*tch. You're essentially making an indentation in the led. Press hard enough to leave a mark but not so hard like your digging for oil (that's why you may have to try & test it a couple of times, to see if you used enough force to "break" the led).

If the bulb looks like any variation as shown below, this should work.

They're actually really nice parking lights, but we don't really need them in the US.

I always liked the look but I actually wish they were brighter, even with led upgrade.

As mentioned you can wrap the upper headlight bodycolor or if so inclined get the covers on ebay
