OEM W205 C63 Valved exhaust Retrofit
As many you may know, the c63 can shatter windows with headers during a morning cold start. I always wished I could start a car with the valves closed just for the initial start up. It’s never been an issue after the fire up, it’s more so the fire up where the throttle revs up to 3k+ RPM.
The W205 with a module, you can start the car with the flaps closed. I’m just wondering if anyone attempted this and if we even have enough room there for those mufflers. The cold start is definitely a problem and cold start deletes do not fix the issue of the rpm’s spiking up key ignition, that is the main issue many people are having.
I have to warn people in my garage to cover their ears, I don’t regret my purchase but I need to find a solution to the cold start loudness. I know fi and a couple exhaust companies have options but they also charging LTH prices and I don’t even know if u can turn off the valves before a cold start.
My Cammed z06 with zr1 mufflers had valves and I was able to control this problem 100% without pissing off my neighbors. I’m almost positive a w205 muffler with valves closed will eliminate this issue.

yes I referenced that, they can only adjust what comes after the ignition fire up, which is not a issue for me bc I never let my car idle for long when I leave out of my driveway. I warm up my car driving not in park.

I could buy fi or the other brands but then again, I have no idea if u can turn the car on with the valves closed. I verified it with a renntech module on a c63 valved w205 exhaust that indeed u can turn on the car with the valves closed for startup
