C63 Facelift Kleemann Stage 3 reliability?

I'm interested in a 2012 C63 with a Kleemann Stage 3 upgrade. I'm a little bit concerned about the reliability; the Stage 3 was installed when it had 40k miles on it and now it's at 100k miles.
  1. Should I be concerned, or do the FL models handle it well?
  2. I know that the supercharger makes a specific noise. Is it very loud? Can it be heard inside?
  3. Will the supercharger affect the exhaust sound as well, or not?
  4. Does the Stage 3 upgrade make the fuel economy worse or better?
  5. What should be checked before buying?

From what I've seen Kleemann tunes are pretty safely tuned. The Kleemann supercharger is based off the Eaton TVS2300 so it should be quiet. Superchargers generally result in the same fuel economy or worse. Generally worse since its easier to use the extra power.

It has had a supercharger for more of its life than it hasn't - 60k miles - and you’re concerned about reliability? This car sounds like it should be the poster child for it.

I dare say it has more to do with the guy driving it than anything, if you beat on it constantly it is going to wear the transmission faster, otherwise the engines are reliable supercharged and take the boost pretty well without any real issues that are not inherent to the car already (like premature wear on the top end - that happens regardless).
I would look for all the standard stuff on these cars if I was looking at it, cold start rattle any top end noise type stuff and pay attention to the trans shifts for any slip or harshness.
