507 Decal Stripes
I just fell out of my chair while on a call with my local dealer and thought I would share with you all.
I am about to pull the trigger on a 507 that has been fully debadged, including the removal of the 507 striping on the sides. After salivating over pictures of the 507 for the past year, I've grown to really like the decals and think it sets the car off nicely from the rest. Anyway, called the dealer to get a quote on replacing the decals and I was quoted...$1,135 PER STRIPE!!!!

Now that I am back up in my chair, I see replica decals all over ebay for anywhere between $30-70, but I am concerned that they aren't identical to the OEM stripes. Does anyone know if these ebay decals are the same? Anyone seen the quality in person? Thanks!

Yeah i brought off someone i forgot... i can take pics later tonight... they are still in the bubble wrap and rolled how they came.. all i did was take them out the box.... ill take some pics tonight and post them in this thread and you let me know... want me to take them out the packaging so u can them fully??

I am missing the top pinstripe over the driver's side door. Didn't even notice it for a couple months. I've seen the repros, and would go that way, see what they look like, or....for my need, just get a pinstripe painted.
I would also think that any reputable body shop/modification shop could come up with a nice solution, unless you're looking for a bone stock match.
BTW, I'll be at LabelExpo here in Chicago the next three days and will talk to some converters and get their advice.

I got almost an exact 50/50 split on my poll as to whether I should keep or not.
It sounds dumb, but I have kept them simply cos I can only take them off once.

Morning Gents, i dropped the ball i forgot to take the pics... i got home late took the stripes out to get ready to take the pics and got sidetracked and fell asleep... I'll leave the office today around 5 so ill be able to do this today.. my apologies

I have a few of these decals around if anybody is interested.
I have the CLA, 507, W205 Edition 1 , and the red mirror stripes as well.
*edit, forgot to mention these are aftermarket, but high quality vinyl
