So this question is probably towards mercedes techs. But I'm looking for a crazy project on my W204 C250. Before you say I'm in a wrong thread I have a question about the tranny that goes on early models of the C63. From my understanding the first C63 version 2008-2011 came with a torque converter. However the Tranny code for C63 is different from the C250. One is 722.907 and the other is 722.997. Now I know that the 722.9 came in a low and high input varients. My question is if the 907 is different in any way other than the torque converter. If so what are the differences?
I would imagine that it could be related to the amount of torque it can handle
that's what I'm thinking too. But I want to know if there is a difference in size, bolt pattern, elecrtrical etc. I want to swap it on my 2014 C250 to safely push more power.

I like that you're excited to modify your car, but I'll be frank. I dont think you can reasonably make enough additional power on a C250 to warrant swapping the torque converter. Especially not for a price that would be palatable.
The cheaper option is to do what other C250 owners do when they mod a car. Basically tune and exhaust work. Maybe instal a different turbo of you're feeling so inclined and have a few thousand bucks burning a hole in your pocket.
Otherwise, enjoy your car, and look for a C63 that is within your budget.
