Distronic replace
Hi,
I just bought a 63 AMG with Distronic not working (diagnosed by independent workshop with Mercedes diagnostic computer)
So I bought a used unit off ebay and replaced the part
BUT I still get the error Distronic malfunction on the dashboard
It is passage with Star Diagnostic necessary ?

Not exactly sure but i would guess you need to perform an initial start up of new control unit via an SDS and update the control unit software as well as the SCN coding.
