Yeah, that looks like a sway bar/anti roll bar linkage, an OEM one. Pretty common wear item. Is your ride height lowered? If it is I would suggest getting adjustable sway bar links like from whiteline for example to adjust for the change from OEM to lowered ride height, that way you can get zero pre load or if you want to corner balance your car. It'll improve the longevity of the link and help with cornering.
If your suspension is factory just get an OEM equivalent, no need to upgrade.

I'm unaware that whiteline makes a sway bar for w204 chassis's. BLKROKT and some others have installed a Eibach brand of aftermarket swaybars in other threads. Seems to work for them, but those guys track their cars.
If you mean the swaybar end link, I think it's worth it if you lowered your car. I'm not sure I can tell a difference since I don't really drive to the limits in corners.
