ECU and TCU question 🙋♂️
I’m looking at taking advantage of the ECC Black Friday sale on tunning.
The question I have is if I indeed need Transmission tunning? TCU
I have a 2012 C63 P31 package.
I was under the impression that TCU was only for newer models 2016 and up!

TCU Tunes fix bad ECU mapping issues that burn transmission clutches. Also a cash cow to sell more products that are not needed if things were done correctly.
The factory TCU is a SELF LEARNING and a TCU tune stops the self learning function which will accelerate clutch wear opposed to factory specification.
