Hi guys, so I have this weird sound coming from my 2015 C63 AMG Edition 507 which only comes when the engine is warm. It also goes away under load, for example when I push the trottle a little bit it goes away and comes back when idling, when I put the gearbox in D it also goes away and when I turn the wheel it also goes away when RPM rises just a tiny bit. So when the RPM rises just a little bit it goes away. Any ideas?

sounds like a loose clamp or mounting screw/nut on the exhaust. If you get under it just bang on the exhaust pipes with your hands and it should show itself

 

I cant think of why the sound would change when you turn the steering wheel then...

I´m thinking it can be one of the pulley bearings and would hope someone could recognize the sound.

 

because the power steering pump applies load to the engine and it revs up to compensate like when running a/c. May also be engine mount related too. But it's a video so.... just playing guessing games
