you put the facelift headlights in I see. I am considering doing this... did you buy a plug and play kit ? Do you new headlights have xenon lighting or halogen?

Actually I facelifted my C300, my C63 on the other hand has the W205 style PFL lights. I swapped harnesses between the two cars as the C63's [xenon] harness fit the DEPO [halogens] facelift headlights. (The C300 was halogen, so no errors except parking lights. Not sure for C63. Plus, I don't think anyone would voluntarily want to go from xenon to halogen, I just had to out of necessity.)




In the image you can see the vent covers on the hood (4 screws each) so quite easy to open/close.
