I recently purchased a w204 c63 2012 facelift with around 150k miles to take on as a summer project as I got the car at a decent price and have always wanted the car.
the issues that came with it are as follows:
driver Side oil cooler has a subtle leak ( not dripping down basically staining the rad fins) I’m monitoring but haven’t seen much of a leak since I’ve serviced the car yesterday ( using Liqui Molly 5w-30)

- Driver side Rocker cover is leaking oil and can be seen when inspecting from underneath. ( Common problem on these) so still feel like it’s not the end of the world.
- Air leak Comming from somewhere - revs also go up and down when in idle at certain times when parked up.( not sure if that’s related )
I how ever have been seeing small puffs of light white smoke Comming out when revving the car or starting it so wanted to know if it that’s normal or if that’s possibly caused by injectors or spark plugs possibly? Any advice Input woild be highly appreciated as I’ve been scouring the forums and net for people who have been in similar situations. I’ve come to conclusion where I thought I the AMG family what they may think could be going on here and if they have had any similar experiences they may be able to share

Looks like water vapor to me, wouldn't worry about it.

Why are you using 5W-30? These motors take 5W-40. You don’t need to tow it, but swap that out as soon as you can. Smoke could just be condensation (that’s what I think it is) or it could be oil from the PCV (usually a big plume of smoke right when you crank it. Looks scary). The air leak is likely intake manifold gaskets. That’s an easy fix. While the intake mani is off, you can clean it, the intake ports, and the replace the PCV (very easy with the intake mani off). If you clean all that, might as well add a catch can to help things stay clean.

hey thanks for your comment, I used 5w-30 as the person at the part shop recommended it and I looked online and I saw it was compatable. I’m from the UK and thought it would be alright as it’s not as hot compared to US / AUS

Only MB spec 229.5(1) is compatible with the limitation of 0W40 and 5W40 for AMG vehicles
