Max Tire/Wheel Combo
I am currently on a 245/275 setup on stock suspension non p30 but factory LSD. I have been planning a build for some time but I'm just gathering parts and details.
I wanted to open up a convo about having a lightweight wheel setup using 18inch and still using the 40F35R Profile (NY Potholes). Maybe a Forgestar setup could suffice since my plea's over the years to APEX Wheels has failed. I believe if we can do a 9Inch wheel up front and a 9.5 in Rear, could we do a 265 F and 275 R setup on a c63 with a oem ride height or maybe 0.5 drop using stock oem alignment settings. I would do a 265/285 but 285 would look to wide for the narrow rear the c63 has, plus im sure some rubbering would occur bc i run ps4s i think they are wider then they advertise. 275 has been perfect for me, i do believe the contact patch is effected by the lack of wheel width but im yet to drop down to 265.
I am planning to go the coil over route either Pss10 or KWv3 setup depending on how budgeting works, but I'm noticing everyone is slamming their cars to only have to sacrifice tire size plus have trouble with alignment settings. Why not keep the height high like oem and max the tire width plus be able to be aligned with all the capabilities of the new suspension. I always wanted to get the max width up front and lightest wheel at the same time, these wheel companies have no info like the info APEX provides to their BMW customers. too much hush hush in the w204 marketplace
