Woke up this morning to smoke and an electrical smell coming from under the hood... Couldn't tell exactly where the smoke was coming so i scanned the codes and it read "P2317 – Ignition coil F, secondary circuit".

Im having trouble figuring out if cylinder F is the 6th cylinder, or the 6th cylinder to fire, which would be the 3rd cylinder...

Just says "coil F". Im just assuming that corelates to a cylinder number. Going to pull the coils tomorrow or Tuesday when I have some time to take a look. Kind of odd this is happening as I put in new coils and plugs about 2½ weeks ago now and all was good til yesterday morning.

Have you tried Googling the code number? I'm sure you will find something...

Searching on the forum also comes up with some pointers:

I did. Altho the smoke is coming from cylinder 2 or 3 from the front on the passenger side. Pulling the coils tomorrow as I'll have a little time.
