Do I need to disconnect MAF sensors to change Air filter??

Do I need to disconnect MAF sensors to change Air filter??
Hello,

I am planning to change my air filters and in some clips I see people disconnecting the MAF sensors and some people don't. Are there any risks to not disconnecting them while changing the air filters?
