Bought a 2012 C63 from Carvana

https://www.carvana.com/vehicle/3640...p-social-share

19,250 miles for 40k. It seems to be an edition 1 but unfortunately no LSD and has a p30 package. Am I overpaying? Has anyone else bought their w204 from Carvana? Good Carfax and seems to be in great condition but I’m a little skeptical. The mileage is so low I couldn’t pass.

It definitely looks like an Edition 1, but such a weird order to spec out. No LSD, no parking sensors, plain aluminum trim. Only the LSD really matters and that's easily fixed.
If the miles are correct, seems like a decent price.

I’ll be honest I didn’t even notice the lack of parking sensors. LSD is the only one that’s important to me and having a nice spec with low mileage so this one hit everything for me. Maybe I haven’t been searching thoroughly enough but I genuinely haven’t seen any facelift c63’s with this low mileage

Honestly, that seems like a reasonable price for such low mileage. Edition 1's are quite rare, so there should be a bit of a premium over a standard P31 car as well. I bought my 2012 from Carvana as well, but back in 2018.

From my experience, make sure you go over everything in the car carefully, as they will probably fix any minor issues that are identified. In my case, I booked it in for a PPI inspection at the dealership the day after I got it. They identified a leaking valve cover gasket and got it repaired on Carvana's dime. They will be incentivized to fix minor problems during the return window, so take advantage of that.

One thing I only realized later was that they refinished my wheels and pretty poorly at that. I ended up stripping and powder coating them anyway, but just some things to check for. Good luck with the car!

if you want a direct drop-in rear diff unit with the LSD already built-in, without dealing with the mess of taking the diff unit apart, i happen to have a complete rear diff unit for the C63 Black Series, brand new in box, extra spare parts that I've just bought a few months ago; iirc, the spec of the diff & LSD is different than a regular C63, stronger perhaps, it has a different part number for sure.

and the cherry on top, being this rear diff unit, was spec'ed for the BS-exclusive "B25" track package option, which has the plugs available, to connect a rear-diff cooler.

with a mileage even lower than yours, i certainly didn't want to just source used parts that most likely has much more miles/history than my 204BS, so I ended up buying all of the parts new from MB at the time.

I have a similar spec 2012 coupe, also with no LSD and no parktronic. No keyless go either. Pretty stripped down spec. I’ve had it about 8 months now, and it definitely needs the lsd. My wishlist would be to have keyless go and the radar cruise control. I’ll put lsd in as soon as I find one at a decent price.
