weistec stage 3 Belt replacement

Hello guys,
I tried to search but couldn't find any post about the belt replacement. My mechanic is installing the belt on stage 3 weistec, and the gate tensioner broke whilst detensioning it to place the pin, (knowing that pin where the tension is locked makes it free and easy to fit the belt). My question: has anyone had that problem before? Is the tension from Weistec too "strong" can't use the pin to lock up?

The tensioner is what makes the tension not weistec. Your mechanic probably did something wrong and broke it would be my guess

I'm running a SC as well and the tensioner is stock, as is yours. It's not a tensioner issue, you have a mechanic issue.

All he was doing is “de tension “ and broken the one Weistec send. I attached some pictures to se if make more sense, but it’s fine if no one experience with this before maybe was just unlucky. But i don’t know if you guys know the tensioner have a pin lock normally come with that gate tensioner, the Weistec didn’t come maybe he push to far to use that pin lock what im guessing why broken.

I see what you mean the holding pin wasn't working? I honestly have never had any luck with those and usually just use a wrench or something to hold it

I stuck a screwdriver in my pin lock to keep it open. Possibly an Allen wrench.
