My SA contacted me today that he can put my order in, but now I am worry with the news of a alternated engine coming to the c63s e performance and the E63S having a V8 again, I am worry about the value of our new C63s E went I get it. I don't want it to tank and I be upside down as soon as I buy it. What do you all think, will it depreciate a lot when we get it or will it hold its value?
The rumor has essentially been debunked for now. What still remains is that the new C63 SE isn't selling, at least in Europe. Nobody wants it. I think this car will be a tough sell down the road. It's a complicated powertrain and likely nobody will want to own it outside of the factory warranty, and the reviews are terrible. I mean just watch the TH review above. They've actually driven one for a significant distance to live with it for a while. If you wanna give one a go, then perhaps leasing is the best option. Hand it back at the end and it's not your problem anymore. Maybe the FL will sort things out better down the line.
Exactly my thoughts. Ive been looking forward to this car for years now. I am def disappointed in the reviews, but want to make the judgment for myself. I plan to lease and like you said just give it back at the end of the term if Im not happy with it.

Man you're in Canada, your numbers would be really bad.
Just got an email for my dealer. They have received first allocation for 1 unit of the 2024 C63SE. First production order for Jan 2024 with ETA in arrival in Spring 2024 (Knowing MB and my past experincesd however, I anticipate this will be delayed to Aug/Sept 2024 at the earliest).
I was able to put my order in today. They said they would inform me of any restrictions on availability of various features if any once the order was submitted. Should have some info by next week on this.
Just wanted to give you an update from the Canadian side for anyone who was waiting as well.
I genuinely dont understand your need to reply to this post or comment in this thread if its such an unappealing car to you. This is an order thread for the C63 SE after all.
Why does it matter to you what others do or what other people enjoy? Its bc of posts like this that people shy away from making comments or posts on the forums. The fear of being shamed or ridiculed.
If the car is not for you, thats cool.. Leave it at that. No need to diminish other peoples interests.

Yah. Thats a real productive and mature response.
In any case. Enjoy your weekend.
I could be the only person on this forum who actually had a chance to spend 2 days with the car and the car is trash. Looking at many “happy” w206 c43 owners with tons of issues I’m wondering why would anyone want to buy an expensive fake c63. You didn’t have to be rude, I was just looking for different opinions.

I think there are many of us that are brand loyal however don't like the direction or decisions made with some models. It's a forum, easy to find a rub. Personally I think this new car is a hot mess and expect many of these to spend serious time in service. It's a step down from the 205 in so many ways. Too many complexities.

If skin is thin, AMG maybe not the right ride
Certainly everyone is entitled to opinions and thoughts but it’s appreciated when it’s done respectfully and without mocking or shaming others.
Skin being thin has nothing to do with what car one drives tbh.
I definitely understand the hesitation with the car. I have reservations as well. But it has been a car I’ve had my eyes on for years before its announcement. I plan to lease so at the end of term will change to something different anyway.
For me, it’s worth looking at. It may not be for everyone and that’s totally okay.

You don't need to justify your choices. It's the same people who try to force their unsolicited opinions on everyone else. Just tell them to fock off and do what you feel is right for you.

Lease is definitely the smart move. One way or another it will make for a dynamic experience. I certainly am anxious to hear first person reviews.
Yeah I don't know why everyone is going against @Mayur999 . The explained they were placing an order and people like places and nycsoil started ridiculing them and saying "thats so weird i dont like this car so you shouldnt either" and Mayur nicely responded that they are excited about the car and then the response is "woah, don't be so offended" like what?? I'm so confused. Mayur is allowed to like a car that you don't. It seems like you're the ones with thin skin if you can't handle Mayur's polite response explaining why they're excited about the car.
