C&D short test
Very brief test in print edition, 'half baked' major complain about tranny, needs reprogramming.(apparently that's what new SW should accomplish) Great ride, cornering abilities, inside appointments.
0-60 = 3.9 sec. but because of tranny only 12.5 1/4m. Mentioned ride in Comfort and Sport, nothing about Sport + .
Curious what would happen once I code Race mode.

0-100 = 9.8
Roadholding .92g.
In small print (just noticed) "the results omit 1 ft rollout of 0.3 sec)
Anyone knows why they do that?
All of our standing-start acceleration times also include rollout, a short period of time (typically about 0.3 second) that we subtract from the acceleration figures. It's a phenomenon that stems from the physics of the timing lights at a drag strip, where a car can be rolling for 12 inches or more before the clock starts. We recently changed our procedure to now use the industry standard 1-foot rollout.

5-60 is worse than expected due to transmission programming they claim.
Apparently, their test car is one of those samples that at least needs readjustment.

Subtracting rollout is industry standard practice, it's not bias. What's actually worth noting is that the 0-60 time, whether including rollout or not, is significantly quicker than the claimed 4.6.

I'd be also curious if upcoming SW update to transmission and race mode would make it even faster.

From my time with Race mode, I'm not sure if it'll be any faster 0-60. Biggest differences seem to be driving dynamics being sharper and a heightened keenness for the transmission to drop down gears especially under braking. I also feel like engine breaking increases in Race mode, and it seems to more aggressively charge the 48V battery when off throttle/braking.
Will try and get around to doing a 0-60 run in Sports+ and Race mode, will record in Track Pace and post the outcome. Let us know if you do the same once you've had it coded.
