Hello everyone, as title suggests im replacing the hood bade on my c43 but cant find any “how to” videos online. Does anyone know if the badge just pops out? I dont want to break anything so want to be careful.

Yes, just pry it right off with a plastic tool, if you want you can tape the sides to protect the paint.

You're very welcome, the previous generation (W205), you pop the hood and just push it from underneath, this generation (W206) you just use a plastic tool and pry it off from the top.

Good video thanks for sharing, other than being a head scratcher that they used a screw driver instead of a plastic tool.

How come they blurred out the part where they removed the main grille star?

I've seen it before. That guy is a certified MB tech.
Maybe Mercedes prohibits to show how to do that and the guy is just playing safe, who knows.

Ah fair enough, your explanation makes sense.
