May I know which state you are asking for?

As far as I know, prices in California still require a markup now.

Even for C300, the markup is $5,000. I understand that dealers want to maximize profits, but I will be patient.

I am also considering 2022 c43 coupe or m340i. If the price is much better, I will go for it.

It's probably better for me to wait until either the other dealers in my state move with their asking price or until the car arrives, right?

Hey so I have a full dynamica wheel in my CLA35 and found a really awesome cleaner. If you want to send me a PM I can link it on Amazon - just spray on a microfiber cloth and wipe the wheel in 4 directions. That being said the wheel is super nice but I wouldn't want it to cover 100% in the C43 (which it doesn't thankfully). I hate grabbing an iced coffee or any drink that sweats and then touching the wheel, but that's just me. Didn't try wet wipes but this stuff got out a couple of areas that looked a little matted. Now I do it about once a month during my weekly hand washes.

Thanks, will do. I meant wet wipes for MY hands prior to gripping lol

I don't have greasy or sweaty hands but definitely have found myself adjusting tire pressure or the like and then hoping in without washing my hands, etc.

Nice work reaching an agreement with your dealer regarding paying sticker as well.

I’m not certain about US spec cars with regards to EU restrictions, but I am also OK with the sound, knowing that we will collectively come up with an aftermarket solution.

I’m with you on passing on the alcantara. Feels incredibly nice, but just one more thing to stay on top of. You will already have to contend with the gloss black center console that comes with your carbon fiber dash.
Haha I actually got a foam cannon finally and while it doesn't save on time so much it really cuts down on the effort! Definitely hard to keep up having my two kids though.
It wasn't hard on the MSRP - not only do I have a great relationship with one of the Finance Managers (sold me my A35 as a salesperson), Hendrick in general doesn't mark up very many models from what I can see (and have been told).
My A35 already has a lot of gloss black and it's not too bad, but the carbon fiber looks so worth the center console!

My current car is black - I am ready for a change. Black is killer! MB NEVER looks anything but stellar in black (when clean at least lol)

I think we are the only ones going grey accent wheels..

I would highly recommend going metallic for black - it will make it that much easier to maintain and will hide blemishes/stone chips better. My current car is the standard black and it's a nightmare.
Yeah I agree with metallic black - it's worth it. The added depth and character makes all the difference!
I honestly just can't seem to see a real difference on the black or grey wheels.

Why does it seem so impossible to find pictures of the car in Obsidian Black???

This is the best I can do for the wheels. Basically the top picture but with the second picture aero blade vs 3rd picture of black accent wheels.

Here's a video of a w206 in obsidian

And the aero ring wheels look cool in all black - so if I hate them in the two tone - that's the move. My wheels off my w205 will also fit up perfectly - so might just refinish those in a hyper silver color

Thanks for putting that together - I'm switching to the black accent wheels. Maybe if I was getting a light color I'd keep the grey but I just don't want to have regrets.

I know four cylinders can sound good as well; the CLA 45 AMG sounds pretty great, although is much of that the electronically added sound? I wonder if the C43 will sound like the latest gen CLA45?

There are a couple of videos out there. The sound on the interior is mic'd from the exhaust if you add the real sound package, but I personally have not minded the sound on the videos I have watched as I am not trying to compare to the 6cyl. I also think there could be a difference between the EU spec and the US spec potentially.

Realized I could mess around with the configurator on the German site - Here's the Graphite build I have with the 19" wheels & studio package.

Induction/mechanical noise is just as important to me - you can hear the blow off working in some of the those night videos. an intake will really wake up that noise.

And graphite is an absolute winner. BMW has all these shades of concrete that look really modern - graphite will probably stay looking more modern than some of the other color choices IMO.

I agree - while I do love the sound of the 6cyls, even on my 35 the turbo does sound decent. I really have no complaints about the videos I have watched so far on the 43.

I was looking on mbusa and realized the 2022 SL55 is $138K MSRP. The last SL550 (2020) was only $115K MSRP. That's a 20% increase over 2 model years.

So........the last C43 sedan (2021) had a $56.5K MSRP. Applying the trend above (20% over 2 model years) puts the 2023 C43 sedan with a MSRP of $68K.

This is higher than I had initially expected. I had originally thought it would be around $60K MSRP.

With a 68K MSRP my total build would be $76K.

This means my wife is gonna put me out.... At least I will have a nice ambient lit backseat to sleep in..

I saw this as well but I don't think it will scale the same. They know what they are going to be able to get with the v8 in those models. While I would expect it to go up a bit, I really still think we will see it come in around 60k base. If it started at 68k base, at that point I am going to go back and build a 2023 M3 for nearly the same cost... I'd expect to pay more for this model than a m340, but once they get in m3 range I am pretty sure MB knows that will be an issue.

2019 c300 vs 2022 c300 are virtually same starting price.

I'd expect starting price to come in under in/under the 59k mark

many MB's entry model is typically anywhere from 23 - 28% less than the next tier - which also helps confirm c43 pricing around 60k

Car and Driver recently updated their review with a base price of $60,950. When the article first broke about a month ago, they estimated the price at 60k. Not sure how recently they updated the pricing, but I consider them a reliable source.

I think it may be correct number on the website.

if you trace the c43 price in past two years, the number is MSRP plus $1050 documents fee.

2021: $56500+ $1050 = $57550
2022: $60500+ $1050 = $61550
2023: $59900+ $1050 = $60950

above is my guess. Hope the MB website will release price and options ASAP.

pricing for the SL wasn't released until cars were sitting at VPC. Hopefully that will not be the case for the c43 but I wouldn't be in a hurry for official pricing based on that data.

I was torn between the starling blue vs graphite grey so I've been messing around with the German configurator. I really like how the blue looks. It seems that I'm the only one here who is selecting blue though

Starling is gorgeous, go for it! Graphite is nice, but its just another grey in a sea of grey cars.

You’re not the only one who ordered blue! I got Lunar blue for mine with saddle brown interior.
