I chose the 19" because I simply do not like the way the 20" wheels look, mainly because of the 3 rings. I like to see more of the rotor/caliper from the outside as well.. I currently have the 19" Multispoke wheels which are a pain to clean, so the 19s on the c43 will also be a bit better for me in that aspect. Lastly, I wanted the best mix of ride comfort vs looks, and I think 20s will make it a bit rougher of a ride.
Optic package includes Night Package I along with a few other additions to the way the bumpers/sides look (and a must add in my opinion).
As to the decade, I am not positive but believe a decade is a run of 10 days at the factory, so I would guess that is most likely around the 10th-20th of Nov. estimated build start date.
My last update from my SA was Oct 1, but I will be finding out tomorrow if/what that has updated to and let everyone know here.
That is why I also choose 19 inch. I am annoyed by the aero dynamic rings. All youtube reviews have 20inch wheels so I want to see 19 inch style as well.
BTW I only included Night package I but not the Performance studio package. If there is no optic package( or performance studio package) , the outlook will be the same as regular c300 sedan which has no AMG style?
Does C43 have a steering wheel with red stitch and a red patch(label ) on the top like CLA 45? (picture below)
When I see the configuration, I do not see any red stitch or the label.
The w206 will not have a 12 o'clock indicator on the steering wheel like the w205 did or like the CLA45 has.
Production date is its anticipated build completion date. (I have been told 4-6 weeks after this date is anticipated arrival date.) I think everyone got pushed back 2 to 3 weeks - Kinematic might be able to confirm this with his visit today.

thanks. My dealer says Hands free trunk option is not available although it says on the ordering guide. Anyone heard about this?
I thought it was standard with the C43? I know on my build sheet if something isn’t included that should be it says “credit for missing” and whatever is missing. Mine is missing Handsfree Access which might be the trunk.

That sounds fishy. I doubt Netstar is down for any considerable length of time unless it was something unusual like maintenance - seems like it would be too impactful to stay down.

It's actually true, it went down for planned maintenance, but did not come back on the planned end date. It's supposedly back now with limited functionality.

Thanks for this insight, he mentioned they were able to see a few limited things but they expect it to be fully back sometime this week, so I hope to have an update in a few more days. He did say nothing up to that point flagged parts / packages being taken out or delayed, so fingers crossed. He optimistically still expects it here before 2023 based on when we got order in and past similar situations, but we will see.

From what I understand yeah, each month has the 3 decades. I think Alexsa mentioned production date is typically when it ends, but I read this as the actual build should start right around the 20th of Sept. The last date I received was beginning of Oct, so it actually moved up one decade.
SA I also do believe is South Africa factory, which I think is where all of the W206 up to this point are produced. I guess they just ship over the engines from Germany after they are made, interesting logistics.

should be built by october in reality, which means the only variable that would stop it from getting delivered before the end of year are the certification processes.

I haven't heard anything that would indicate the M139L is built in SA. All signs point to being built in Germany.

This is how they used to get Sprinters here, so don't doubt for a second that the process might seem completely illogical lol.

Thanks for this. One thing I noticed is that 2023 C43 Coupe is $62,600 and usually the coupe is more expensive than the sedan so it seems like the C43 sedan should be right around $60K
