No change either in prod isn't a bad thing as they don't seem to be pushing back at all. I did reach out to my SA this morning, but he was in training for 2 days. I wonder if it's related to the '23 models. Left a VM, hope to hear back / email later this week and I will keep you guys in the loop.

The Configurator on the UK site is up with pricing. It starts at £67K which I believe is significantly higher than the previous model.

I hope I'm wrong but wouldn't be surprised to see it start at just under $70K here....

I didn't get a chance to look at it yet, but could that be due to having a higher level starting trim versus the base / premium / pinnacle trim options we have here?

I wonder if it includes VAT? Also, Pound is collapsing now down to $1.09, so MB doesn't have to price that high in $ to make same profit.

I just played around with the config and other than the performance seats missing (but including leather seats which I did not go with)... it basically had everything added on and ended up around 72k, which is sorta where I expected my build to be (but in USD).

I won't be happy if the car starts at 67k - I've also heard that UK doesn't have ADM so that might pump the number up slightly? IDK. We should have pricing, at the very latest, when the cars start hitting US soil if going by other trends of new MB cars.

I don't know how much we can get from the UK pricing. It has much more standard equipment and the taxes, etc. are not the same. I still really think it'll be meaningfully below 65k... maybe like 62k-63k. That would be a large jump from the W205 and is far more than the competition. When I optioned mine on the UK configurator (couldn't find Night Package for some reason) it was 67k with more equipment than what I optioned for my actual order.

If the base price is much more than 64k in the end I'm out - not only would my wife kill me but I'd rather get a cheap Corolla to tote the kids around in and a Supra for fun.

Using the C300 as a baseline, the 206 isn't significantly more than the 205. Same should apply to the C43...maybe the C63se will be a bit more due to that trick hybrid set up.

The 63SE will be something like $75-77k base MSRP given the non-S doesn't exist anymore.

Greetings everybody!
I finally pulled the plug and ordered mine yesterday! Selenite Grey metallic, 19 inches, AMG studio package with night package 1 & 2 (system wasn't letting me pick the studio package w night 1 alone) little concerned about dark chrome badging being too stealthy on the grey paint but ah well.
I picked this dealer in particular cuz they had a nov/dec allocation and build time and aren't charging above MSRP (yet) but how long does it usually take to get a confirmation of the order and/or PO number?
The only thing I received from the dealership was the configure print and a receipt for the deposit.
Really hoping to catch this production date 🙏

Yeah I am not clear about that as well; in BMW world I get PO in a day or so and you can track the car from that moment on. Here I got the same as you. Maybe because it's being built in SA?

Congrats! Are you also going with Pinnacle Trim to get all the interior goodies?

Mine is set to go into production 11/9 and I also wasn't able to get Studio, but I did get 20's, Digital Light, Pano Roof, and Night I.

Does anyone know when the freeze point date is when I can make any changes such as color? I still am debating pulling Selenite for Starling or Cardinal.

I meant to say I get production # right the way from BMW, but cannot get it from MB, not sure if it's always like that

If you don't have a PO number it means your dealer doesn't have an allocation.

If your dealer has an open allocation spot you will have a PO number.

Yes I am splurging on the pinnacle trim, enhanced sound, digital light and Pano roof. Also ventilated seats. Going for the sienna brown leather and metal weave trim.

Not sure when the window to make changes closes, a dealer was mentioning that since the Net star system update they have had less warning before changes close.

Were you able to get a PO number at the time of placing the order, or did it come later?

I was afraid of that, even though I had tried to confirm before ordering that they had an allocation.

Anyone here have any experience getting a PO number after the preorder; and how long should I wait before I need look to other dealerships if I still want delivery Q1 23?

To be honest, I don't really know anything about the MB ordering process but here's my order sheet.

I need to ask my client advisor about freezepoint date so I can ponder any adjustments before SOP.

DC1 is not available with DC2 - you don't have to also spec the DF1 (black chrome badges and grille) with DC2. Basically DC2 includes DC1 automatically, thus the limitation.

All written in the DOG, btw.

you should have PO as soon as YOU have an allocation (your name on a car to be produced).
