Just so you know, I placed my order in June and the build date is 2/3/2023. This has been pushed back 2 or 3 times at this point - if you are going to be in a situation where you are hoping your dealer gets a custom ordered model in quickly, I would absolutely suggest looking for something more off the shelf / in stock. They have not even announced a true launch date for this vehicle in the US at this point. Your sales associate should also be able to provide to you a printout/pdf that shows what the status of your vehicle is, at least from a production perspective.

I was in the same boat. I just did an "A" Service and Registration Renewal for my CLA as well as bought new tires in October. I bit the bullet and paid because I don't know when my car will be available for purchase. My build is currently on a ship with ETA to VPC forecast for 01-Feb but who knows when MB officially launches the C43 in the US. I also plan on trading in my CLA when I purchase the C43 as I will not have to pay taxes on the value of the trade-in.

It sucks but it is what it is

What's all this talk about this car being 80k+ usd msrp? That would be wild and I would definitely back out. Not paying 80k msrp for a c43. No way.

European for sale ads are showing the c43 at super high costs.

Not sure where you are hearing that from in the US... It should be right around 60 base.

Where did you hear $80K? My last build sheet I got from my SA showed base MSRP $59,900

I would also back out at $80K

I think the 80K MSRP is here in Canada.

Here is my build. I also went in and removed the second night package after this because I'd prefer to have my grill in chrome

I was straining my eyes to see... I couldn't see the front flics but i thought it had the black rear spoiler so I assumed it had the studio pack. Also the 4 fin diffuser looked as if it had the additional bottom component but i really couldn't tell.

n any event, if my car looks like this i will have no complaints

The stationary, rather sterile, pictures don't do it justice. Car will be an absolute stunner in person. I remember seeing the c300's in person and being rather impressed.

I do think anyone who did not order digital lights will be kicking themselves - probably the singular most important exterior option IMO.

Non-Studio + Night I believe will still look dynamite, especially w/ some good tint

Don't forget, we can purchase some of the Studio component after the fact (ie. black rear spoiler) so if we do feel it needs another splash of aggressiveness.

I, for one, will probably purchase the spoiler.

Are you planning to tint all windows? including the rear window?
I asked one of the tinting shop owner and he got a few customers for w206 c300 . He had to detach the whole rear seats and rear tinting may cause the malfunction of the trunk.

In short, he said he wishes MB gives this car a more 'heavier' feel, eg louder engine sound, stiffer suspension (he considers the suspension is still too 'light' in S+ Mode), more hp from the engine, heavier steering...etc
But then, he admits that perhaps he is seeking the C63 feel from this C43.
