Good catch, I was too focused on his facial expressions and didn't pay attention to the engine.

Hmmm, I mean owners like us complained about the car too stiff on the W205, I guess they can't satisfy everyone. I do however agree with the too light part. The W205 for example is considerably lighter than a 340i for example and I guess in the case of the W206 it wasn't changed.

Edit: To clarify I meant the steering too light.

Assuming these won't be found on C43's? I noticed the refreshed CLA's are getting them.

I'd bet money these will be included MY24 and beyond...

I think it does, after all your engine (the heart) was hand-built from Affalterbach, the car more than qualify for that badge.

Certainly possible, for example the 2017 C 43 (for example mine) had the old blue MB star while the 2018 got the updated with a new MB star while is in line with their other models in 2018.

Just have a lot of protection prior to tinting, a couple of cloths to protect the delicate SAM module located in the trunk, no need to detach all the seats, I am worry about them introducing rattles if they do that hopefully not though.

Don't worry it was 80K CAD not USD, you are fine.

I'll keep my eye out and post it if I find it - the Kunzman site does not list part numbers.

I bought from (I've never used before and will report my findings after receiving. My normal parts place does not have it listed): https://www.mbpartscenter.com/oem-pa...ign-0008170708

If you call they will likely give you a cheaper shipping rate

I got an update, my car's production got pushed back to March. **** that. I'm going to try to just find something here at VPC because from what I hear the car will be released by MBUSA beginning of February. Although they have been saying that for months now lol

Sorry to hear that but if the car is exactly how you ordered and therefore the spec you want and that there are no omissions due to supply chain constrains, although waiting always stinks, I believe it is worth it?

I saw this earlier somewhere else and I think the only thing mentioned was that the pins on the back of this aligned horizontal versus vertical, or vice versa, so they had to grind the back down to make it work. Probably not a huge deal, but that was the only negative on it. Wish I could remember where I saw it and the model...

Was it from here? https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-c63s-...ml#post8706901

The emblem is in plastic not metal, they tried to put in on a GLC 63s, which was the issue, I don't think you will have this issue on a W206 C 43 though. I might be wrong... If someone gets the part number of the MB hood star on the W206 C 43 we could probably look at the back and see if it is the same as the Affalterbach logo.

I bet it will be delayed again.

I'm going to to the non custom order route.

It should be ok, they are trying to use GLC and w206 C63 and attach to W205 that have different designs. This part number above is from w206 c63 and should fit to any w206 C class.

Most likely it will be delayed. My current build date is May, I'm hoping it stays like that.

All the non custom order cars at VPC are missing most of the options that I want so it’s going to be a long wait for me.

I'm going to to try to hold onto some optimism it will be Feb/early March latest.

For those of you potentially holding off, I would still check out inbound/VPC stock to see if any specification that's appealing to you hasn't been accounted for.

The way the world moves these days, you never know when/if there is another delay that could bump your car into 2024.

true but honestly I found about 3-4 of them that are very similar to what I’m looking for and they’re at VPC or they’ll be here by the end of this month & im just waiting for the release. If you read a post I posted a while ago, I also explained I need to get rid of my current car ASAP

Sounds good, as long as you get what you want that is all that matters. Last you want is to spend all the money for something you don't like (been there done that), sounds like you are on the right track then.
