@alexasa I am still stopping in on Friday to see if I can get some more formal numbers together (since we are starting to see them now), but reached out ahead of time just to double check nothing drastic has changed. Here is the current history going back until beginning of Oct (which was first estimated build date), looks like we are still on track for Friday. Does anyone here know what those Status codes are exactly, like LF06, for example?

So mine was identical last I checked.
My concern is it should have started production at this point (01-3) is 3rd 10 day period of the month (January). If nothing has changed by next week I'd expect further delays. But anything could still happen as it's right on the cusp of needing to see a change.

Interesting - I wonder why the prod date would not fall within the decade week then? This tracking system is absolutely garbage with MB.

I honestly haven't seen enough of these and then tracked when they went into production etc. to have the answer. But basically - it should start production this week either way - from what I can gather.
It only takes about 15 to 20 days to build these cars. So, our cars technically should be built prior to the "launch date of 2/28/23". I'd expect to see Netstar reflect a change if the car wasn't going in for production with the information provided and granted it is the week it should start.
And if this information is still good - we should be able to take delivery of our cars a few weeks after launch.
We should see some juicy specs at this event - AU usually gets loaded cars and they should not have OPF either. So hopefully this will help tide us over and maybe we will hear a better date for the US.

US does not have OPF either? Which countries require to have OPF , only Europe?

2/28? that’s the US launch date? Where did you read that?

It's nothing. The cars I perused on netstar, back in November, had Dealer ETA set to 2/28/23. These were cars already built and either stateside or on their way.
I've asked for others to get an update but nobody has obliged.

You're better off googling this. From what I know: not all of Europe but most, yes. AU, Canada, US and Russia typically don't have OPF. This could be constantly changing and I'm no expert.

thanks. When I watched your previous threads about c43 in Japan, they sound similar to European version.
Let’s face it. It will never sound as good as the old one. But it’s more about how can we make the meh sound a little less meh? 😂
Someone above mentioned the sound package. That’s internal. There is no exhaust option from factory. The option you’re talking about is the AMG real performance which just boosts the sound into the cabin using microphones at the exhaust.
My dealer told me next week they should release but I don’t even know if that’s accurate. Hate to sound like a child but I’m so tired of waiting, especially knowing it’s just sitting at the port. I just want to hop in and enjoy it already.

Haha I get it, although some of us have been waiting since June....so I can't feel too badly for you 🤣

I've been waiting almost two years for ....something... First the RS3 - We all know how that turned out; then my canceled CLA45, and now this...This was supposed to be the 2nd car in our family (the one I would daily), but after all this waiting and living with one car, I'm not even sure we need a second car anymore.

when did yours arrive at the port? It has not been moved to the vpc ?
Dash from EQ models!?!? Super weird. Probably just a mix up
That might be the first mod for some future owners
EDIT: Is that High-Tech Silver? 'Cause I ordered High-Tech Silver, with the night package. Man, every single time I question my decision to buy that car and consider cancelling the order, I see the car...

yup, hightech/cirrus. That's my color too. The silver looks insane in good lighting and full sun but looks too blue for my taste in low light/overcast. Iridium was overall a better silver IMO.
I saw a lunar w206 c300 amg today in overcast weather. Car looked so rich - would look insane with pana grill on the c43 in chrome. I'd be tempted to snag a lunar car if I didn't have performance seats ordered.
I also saw a magno selenite car today. Not quite worth the price tag IMO. the magno graphite on the other hand...
