Yeah...I have the 2019 C43 with the muti-beam headlights and it adds so much to the look of the car. I think they are needed even more on the W206 C43. The standard LEDs just look very cheap...they don't fill the headlight space. In the W205...the standard LEDs filled the headlight and looked...at least...like they were desighned for the space.
Pre-facelift as you know looks like this: https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...b5ed9debc5.jpg
Filling the headlight is this what you mean? Facelift headlights:

Is it just me or this just basically following the same design philosphy with the first update LED being one light bulb and then a reflector while on the W206 one light bulb is standard, the pre-facelift W205 had the awful halogens too

They don't look bad but they definitely look small from profile

I have the 2029 face lift C43. The multi beam lights have a large bulb flanked by two cartridge bulbs and the lights are gorgeous. Really works of art. The standard LEDs on the W206 don’t compare. They look cheap. The multi beams look amazing.

The two things I like most about my 2019 C43 is the biturbo V6 and the AMG performance exhaust. It’s sounds amazing. My C43 is fully loaded….multi beams, 19s, dystronic, performance exhaust, digital dash, great red paint,…it stickered for right at 70K.
These 4 cylinder cars….are more. A lot more.
Now if that 4 cylinder let me shut down an M340i or M440i…I’m tired of losing to those cars.
But to pay more…get 2 less cylinders….and to continue lose to that M340i /M440is around and their 6 cylinder B58 and zF 8 speeds
Plus that B58 is rock solid and so is that zF 8 speed.
This 4 cylinder electrified turbo is a little to exotic for me.
The 9 speed transmission I have not really enjoyed.
the new BMW I drive 8 is pretty good and they kept the wheel so not just touch screen.

The spokes seems thicker though.
I mean these are way lower profile but looks better, though more susceptible to road hazard damage.

I mean you sit in the car the majority of the time, driving is one thing but you want to also like to be inside the vehicle and not constantly thinking of getting out.
The ZF transmission is much more refined yes not denying that, the six-cylinder in the BMW is a very nice selling point because I heard it is actually one of the most reliable modern BMW engines, used across multiple models of BMW.
BMW is also known for inline-6 so they had so many years to perfect it again and again, inline-6 in general in German cars including the M256 is inherently smooth there is no denying that, a four cylinder just can't ever be as smooth.
I don't know about you but I buy a car not to be about winning drag races, it is about the driving experience but that is just me and I mean, I am not you. I understand why you prefer the BMW in that case as your priorities are different than mine.
The pre-facelift or they call it the pre-LCI BMW 3-series still has iDrive 7 I heard, the facelift which was 2023 is when they got rid of physical buttons for the seat heating adjustments, and changed to iDrive 8. The climate control settings are all in the screen buried down in a menu. The C-Class is not, although it is in the screen, it is always in the same spot. Not as easy to control as physical buttons but not as bad as the BMW.

Looks incredible! First I've seen with 4 zone climate. Also, unfortunate to see the credit for missing USB port, I thought C43s were safe from that.

My 2019 LCI C43 loaded with V6 Bi-Turbo, 19 inch AMG wheels, AMG PE, Dystronic drive, multi-beam headlights, red paint, upgraded sound, digital dash, leather, air cool seats stickered a little over 70 but I got the dealer down to $59,900. Good deal/good value. So I'm looking at these 4cylinder C43s with half the equipment going for much much more.

Finally heard from my SA that the car will arrive either today or tomorrow... but I also saw that other dealers in my area already got a few cars in their dealership.
Since I'm buying a pre-built car from the dealership, I'm having second guesses about the car that I put my deposit on.
It's gonna be hard to get a big discount for such a new release, but I'm gonna shop for the best offer.... wish me luck.

I don't need my replacement to my current 2019 LCI C43 until end of October. I'm hoping in the next few months supply increases and there will be more dealing on these cars. Given interest rates, I'm paying cash for the next car so every penny saved goes in my pocket.
Right now...its looking like a 2024 M440i X-Drive Grand Coupe. It has the 6 cylinders and the ZF 8 and will leave a few extra thousand in my wallet.
However, if the W206 C43 can be had at a deal from my Mercedes dealer, who was very open to dealing back in 2019, then the C43 will be an option.
I have test drive the M440i and its very potent...nice exhaust note too.
Ill have to test drive the C43....hopefully...as good if not better than the AMG PE on my 2019...which is AMAZING.

Hey all, wanted to share some pictures of my build - @alexasa here's the final product. Big thanks to ylli101 for the pics.

This time I picked magno grey because my current car is black and I wanted to have a meaningfully different color at same time I’m starting to realize the high maintenance of matte finish. I will likely need a full front PPF and ceramic coating right off the dealer lot 😂
