I agree, I'm trying to play it cool, but the wait is starting to get to me. It's definately not recall related. I checked my VIN and there aren't any applicable recalls.
Right there with you guys and my car just hit Houston today. Ordered mine back in October and have been tracking it daily lol.
No answers in sight from Mercedes.
I ordered my C43 back in April, 11 months ago.. I wonder if anyone on here has waited longer than me. MY23 got released in March so I am hoping our cars get released next week. Fingers crossed!
I've been in contact with my SA for updates. I placed the order late April, in June the order was finally allocated with a September built date. It ended up being built in October and arrived at the VPC in Baltimore I believe late December. It has been sitting there for 3 months now.. 3 hours away from my house.
Man - that's tough, being that close. If you look on autotrader, you can find a number of dealerships advertising that they have c43's available (in stock). Clearly its just a ploy to get potential customers to contact them. Yesterday my SA emailed me a screenshot of the MBUSA worldwide inventory tool to show that there are no 2024 c43's iin dealer stock in the USA, but there are bunches of them at the VPC. The inventory tool max's out at 100 units, but he says there are many, many more.
How have you been tracking it if you dont mind me asking?
Once you car ships you can get the name of the ship from your dealer. Mine is Glovis Supreme then you simply type that in the search bar and there is multiple tracking websites.
I suspect the 2024 C43 should be released shortly ;-). Good Luck to you all. We have decided to end our waiting. We started on our journey last February and I had a line to a 2023 C43 from a CA dealer. Our local AZ dealer didn't have any incoming C43's that we were interested in and didn't have a build slot. They called at the end of February and offered us a 2023 build slot for a May Build. That was always our goal, so we let the CA 2023 C43 go and placed our order. Our May build was pushed to August and at the time we were told still a 2023. In the summer, the August Build was pushed to September as a 2024 and we were told a Nov/Dec delivery. We got excited for awhile as September was moved forward to August, which our build was completed on 8/24. As far was we know, the status is On Hold - awaiting a ship assignment. So even if MB releases within the next 2 weeks, we wouldn't see our C43 for awhile as it will go to the Long Beach VPC. We moved to SC in October, so our AZ dealer was just going to ship to us. Best case we won't see our C43 until maybe late May/early June. We are not really excited about getting a new build that has been sitting/in transport for some 9 months from build and we have no relationship/leverage with any SC MB Dealers, if there are any issues. So time to move on ;-(
I'm attaching our custom build, if anyone is looking:
I guess if your car isn't already at the VPC it could probably be delayed while MB finds another port to ship to. For those of us that already have a car at the VPC, I hope there will not be a holdup.
Had my current car serviced this morning at a different dealer than where I ordered my C43 (moved states since I placed the order) and asked one of the guys there to look up my order. Still no cars in the national inventory, only the VPC. However, the last update on my car was on 3/27 showing VPC installing accessories which he said is usually the last thing before they send them to the dealers. My car was also showing priority 1 which I guess means will be one of the first ones out of the VPC when they finally decide to release them.
I hope you're right about the 'priority 1'. My salesman also told me that my car is 'priority 1'. I sent an email to MBUSA this morning, asking them when the 2024 c43's would be released. I wonder if they will respond.

They won't. Priority one means it's sold to a customer.
You're correct, they didn't respond to me. They forwarded my name to the local MB dealership (not the one I'm purchasing from), and I got a call from one of their salesmen. No question, he doesn't anything either.
Thoughts on this '24 C43 vs. the '24 CLA 45? Having second thoughts on the C43
CLA pros: a bit faster, handles a bit better, lighter, various options available.
cons: less room inside, interior looks slightly cheaper.
Your decision - depends on how many cars you have, family size, age and use
Update from my salesman today said the release is imminent. Last week when he talked to distribution, he was told the release would be next week, but when he talked to them today, it's been revised to "any day now", so fingers crossed we'll see them leaving the VPCs before the end of this week.

I'm right there with you. I also ordered mine in April, was built the first week of November, and it has been sitting at the VPC since January.
