The top half of the dynamic button on my steering wheel has stopped working has anyone else experienced this issue ?

 

Looks like a software issure rather than a hardware issue given that the lower butting still displays options. Have you double-checked that there are actions assigned to the top button in the AMG menu? Possibly a glitch in the MBUX software has removed all actions from the top button.

I haven't had this issue personally, but on an older version of MBUX I've had a glitch which reset all the actions on the AMG buttons back to factory default, instead of the personalised ones I had selected. Hasn't happened again since being updated to NTG7_E504.304.

 

There were actions assigned before however now when I hold the top half down it doesn’t even allow me to add any unlike the bottom half. I also noticed this happened shortly after I went to a Mercedes branch to activate my Mercedes me and remove the previous owner From the system so I think you may be on to something🤔

 

You can edit the top/bottom button assignments by going into one of the AMG menus in the center console. I'd check there if you can't bring up the edit menu directly from the AMG dynamic button.
