Power Cut Out atr High RPM
Hello, I have a 2024 C63AMGS with 11000. When I fully accelerate and hit around 6000 rpm between 70 and 80 mph, there is a noticeable lag in power. It lasts for around 1-2 seconds and then comes back. I have taken it in for service for this twice and all they will say is that it is normal operation.
Has anyone else experienced this?

Believe that is the 2nd gear for the electric power unit kicking in from 1st gear. I get a brief lag around 80-85.

I also drove a 2025 GLC 63 and it had the identical lag.

Do you also experience jerky/ lunge between 3-4 gear in Manual mode and in sports plus or race ?

in auto mode it seems fine but shift in just 3-4 is violent and almost neck breaking.

just noticed a hesitation between 3rd and 4th this morning in manual mode in sport+. Thought it might be hitting the rev limiter, but wasn’t even close to redline…only at 4k rpm.
