Transmission
Sorry if I missed this in other threads (did try to search), but any news on the transmission they plan to use?
This is one of the few areas they could really improve. i'm not asking for a stick shift, but moving away from the pretty shabby 7 speed options, whether MCT or DCT. They are both simply too unresponsive. There is no reason why this should be the case. It's sad when a ZF 8spd auto outperforms and AMG DCT..., never mind the MCT.
Drive a BMW or Porsche dual clutch and the difference is significant. Even the DSG in my 2010 VW GTI felt better! Come on AMG! You can do it!

For the record the DCT in my CLA45 is pretty darn good. It just needs a software update to work out a few of the bugs. I remember my 08 M3 with DCT was awful until the first SW update.
