Please note that we have recently been informed of a production error which resulted in some C63 S Edition 1 vehicles not being equipped with the red accents on the side mirror housing or the decal on the side panel. Once a solution is available, your selling Mercedes-Benz dealership will contact you to have this rectified.

Well... I just got a call from my Porsche dealer and they gave me an allocation for a GT4!
My build date is for this Fall and I am very excited! The GT4 was my top choice, so if I didn't get an allocation I would have happily purchased a C63S. In fact, the M4 fell behind the C63S as my second choice because it is going to be a beast! The GT4 and C63S are two very different cars, but both amazing machines for their intended purposes. I will be tracking the GT4.
Congrats to everyone here getting their C63/C63S soon! I will still be hanging around the forum and admiring all the new cars.

Thanks! 2950 lbs curb weight and 385 hp (probably closer to 400 hp) will be fun to throw around. I can already hear that engine screaming behind my ears..will be fun!

What?? Nuts. well, it looks like the reason you did not get decals is because there is a shortage.
So hopefully soon you will see them.
Kuba says the car at David Morris has decals in the trunk of it. He saw them. So once these cars are on the road, then you can prove to them they should be on it. I am putting the decals on mine when it comes in.

Just one problem. Drove it 6kms and there is a coolant leak. The car is headed back to the dealer on a flat.

Dang sorry to hear that happened to you! Same thing happened to my CLA 45 when I first got it. Basically the coolant valve wasn't correctly closed. Hopefully that's the case with your car and not something serious!

Just found out that they aren't holding the cars due to the decals/spoiler issues. So I'm back at the first step in finding out wtf is going on with my car, and where it is... So finally I'm give up. I'm bringing out the white flag.

i live in Australia - we have no build date verified therefore no delivery date - i placed a deposit on a ED 1 early Nov 2014 ,, reading the above regarding ED1 orders is inexcusable .. WTF how can MB deliver cars incomplete. i read somewhere. left hand drive vehicles built in south Africa, right had drive vehicles from Germany not sure if this is correct.

So talked to my dealership today. They still haven't received a reply from MB Canada. So that's the bad news. Good news is they're willing to give me a loaner Thursday or Friday since I'm near my km limit.
I also contacted AMG. Hopefully they'll be able to figure out what's wrong, when the car will be shipped and when it will arrive, since from the looks of it MB Canada is unable to figure that stuff out. As for the cut off date for my patience? Probably mid June.
