Is anyone else getting frustrated with the lack of updates?
Im starting to get really frustrated with the lack of updates from MBUSA and thats including my deal ership that i placed an order at. With the car a month away, my dealership still hasnt given me any updates on the car or anything. I know the price isn't out yet but they are able to take our order if we are getting the S. I put my deposit there in July and I'm the first one to do so. So I'm assuming besides the Edition 1 cars ill be first. I still haven't gotten a PO number or any of that good stuff. I don't know when the car is going into production, how long production is, and when the estimated time for delivery would be.

Besides the order banks opening up nothing has happened.
Im so glad i have my brothers CLA 45 for right now but he is going to need it back soon. Im just totally frustrated with the communication between me and the dealership.
yeah I'm honestly getting irritated. I emailed the lady that I'm dealing with at the dealership 3 times since the 25th not one reply back. I would just like to know what is going on. Like a simple sentence or so would be great. I just need something lol

I've just posted in the other thread. My Dad told me his small dealership in Ontario has a new one in the show room. He likes the aggressive look over his S550 and he said it's the 15' with the price in the mid $70k. Unless he heard wrong but I don't think it was the 14'? Myself, I like the new look as well. The 2 midsize sedan on my thumbs up list is this car and the ATS-V.

I think you all need to calm down. It's coming. I know your eager, but good things happen to those who wait and are patient :-)
But ya, the dumb part of this whole process is that you put money down with a dealership, it puts you in the bank until they get a PO, you put your options down, but you don't even know how much you will be paying. Pretty dumb Mercedes if you ask me. They should have the configurator out by now and more details on the options so people can start their planning and budgeting.

Maybe they will change the model year to a 2016 since it seems to take so long. In my opinion a new model should come out before years end not halfway through it. Reminds me of the 1964 1/2 Mustang.

Wait. The first part doesn't make sense. MBUSA doesn't have anything to do with this since all the stuff is put into the system(I believe that it's called NetStar). Basically this is how it works. (From what Ik it works just like this in the U.S also). If the dealership doesn't have any allocations then you get put on the wait list. Then once a dealership gets a allocation they do whatever changes they want to the car or whatever changes the customer wants and then they put the customers name under it. (They usually receive a build date during this also and a estimate on a arrival date). Afterwards you wait until the build date arrives and once it's built you get the vin, and a more approximate delivery date. Then you wait until the delivery date and pick up your car, or wait longer if it's delayed. So I have no idea why she said that "MB USA won't get it until Monday" since like I said MBUSA has nothing to do with this. So based off that and the fact that your sales lady thinks that the S is 4matic, I'm starting to wonder whether or not your sales lady knows anything at all lol.
She replied last night. I got my PO number and I'm the first car coming at he dealership
