Bye Bye CLA

So I have a 14 CLA45 with a little less than 20K of mods on her. CF intake, full turbo back exhaust, ADV1 Wheels, Renntech tune, Brabus Race shifters, the works...little over 3000 miles on it. BUT I am really feeling this new C63s, my dealer has one being built in July and delivered end of July, THINKING about putting my name on it. What do you guys think? Pull the trigger? Wait a year?

When you guys sold your Mercedes what was the best way to sell it? Obviously I wouldn't trade it in.

CLA is nice, but it is a FWD that disguises into an AWD when grip is low.

Try the C63 and you'll wonder why the heck you bought a CLA in the first place. RWD are much more entertaining to drive. So, in my opinion, yeah trade the CLA for a C63! Do it now before I take your spot!

I am sure the c63 is a huge step up from the CLA, even though I do love the CLA, we put alot of work into that car. But that V8TT.....Tune and Downpipes and that car will be a beast.

I would never of thought I would be in a position to buy these cars, the CLA was perfect for me. Last April I got a new job and it has been extremely rewarding.

It all depends on what you like. I'm sure the CLA with your mods is a great performance car. But FWD/AWD are not as fun, that's why I say go for the C63.

To me, nothing beats the fun of hanging the tail out every now and then. My 996TT was much more powerful and a lot quicker/faster and overall a much more capable car than my C63. But it was not as fun to drive. And to have some driving sensations I had to be deep into the expensive ticket territory.

The C63 is more fun to drive and you don't need to go triple digits to have the fun. And that V8 rumble is just icing on the cake.

I actually might just wait for the coupe to drop. That makes me feel a little better and I can get another year out of my CLA45.

This ^^^^

If your sitting on the fence styling wise and if the 4 door configuration is not important to you and you want your C63 to have a similar sleek silhouette as the CLA then definitely wait and go for the new C205 C63 Coupe

From every conceivable source of information the final product looks like it'll end up being a scaled down S Class Coupe, I don't think there's many people out there who don't think the S Class Coupe is a stunning looking vehicle

How much do you put down with turbo and exhaust on the CLA?
My advice would be to take your time. First year new car could have some bugs.
This will give you time to enjoy a little bit more the CLA and time to sell it as well. I would recommend to part out as finding the right buyer could be a lengthy process. GL

Folks who purchase the first year of a new generation are essentially beta testers and will experience a lot of bugs.

I say wait a year until the defects are smoothed out.
