Just curious how many of you are going to do a drop on this car. The gap between the wheels looks quite big in the videos.

My current CLS is lowered using the Renntech Lowering System with Front, not rear, Lowering Links. The first pic is a 6" drop in the front and 2" drop in the rear. That is my "show car" profile. The second picture is normal ride height but lower then the factory. My 335 was lowered on H&R Sport Springs. The engine was the N54 and had everything except Meth & Upgraded Turbos. Max boost was 22 PSI and 425 to the wheels. My E92 M3 Coupe had the Competition Package with dropped the car .5" inches. See the pics below.

Ill see how well the stock car clears driveways and speedbumps.

Back when I had my CLS I ripped off my oil cooler because my car was too low. I learned my lesson real fast, and lifted my car when dealing with **** like that.

I'm not sure what I want to deal with that all over again.

Are aftermarket springs or coilovers already available for the new C63?

****! My bad I forgot you were spending the $80,000. Don't worry I won't do anything to it. Why would I? It's your car and these people make cars and specific way for a reason and no one should change anything.

This ^^^^

The new W205 C63 seems to have been engineered and built to an exceptional standard, IMHO the package (especially the suspension) should not be altered.

BTW changing springs only on any vehicle is definitely not the right thing to do anyway, a matching damper set up should at least also be used.

I can't keep a car stock. The ride height of cars is a thing that bothers me the most. I'm not a stock car type of person. As soon as aftermarket parts come out. They are going to go on the car. Wheels, suspension, aero kit, and FBO. The Mercedes crowd is really conservative. They aren't like the BMW crowd. They can look so much better than they already do. They can perform so much better than they already do.

Now now...no one get all upset. We can do whatever we want to our cars. However, I will say the BMW crowd is way more into modding than the MB crowd. All of my cars were lowered except my M3. The current C63 507 Sedan, i.e. Lakeshow on IG, sits perfectly. To each their own. For now, let's just remember that we are all lucky to get the hottest 4 door in the planet!!

That's fair enough amanuuh just as mentioned by JPMBenz we are all just expressing our own sentiments on the topic people as always can do as they please each to his own

Regarding mods I think most people will do something rather than absolutely nothing even small minor things like changing door pins etc. One area I always modify on any forced inducted vehicle is the engine tune there's usually if not always so much potential to be had compared to N/A, cosmetically I nearly always opt for a better looking set of wheels this can also help with the aforementioned gap in the wheel arches if a step up in rim size is adopted

I'm not kind of stock person either. Modding will start as soon as aftermarket parts with proven results shows up..
