Nitpicking...
However... am I the only one who noticed how the exhaust is made? They basically cut the end of the exhaust pipe straight and it finishes in the middle of the squared decorative part that is fixed on the rear bumper.
Reminds me of the Mazdaspeed6. That is ugly as hell. Looks cheap. I much prefer the quad pipes on the w204.
I don't know what happened at AMG, but this is NOT how a proper exhaust should look like.
Also, not a big fan of sliding rear calipers. Again, not how it should look like. Not a big deal but still.
I'd would have preferred a more distinctive styling. However I suspect more aggressive versions will come up in a couple years that will spice up the styling a bit.
Think of it this way... Less fabrication if you ever add an aftermarket exhaust and there may be engineering behind it not being fixed to the finisher ... Like vibration or heat issues

Definitely not an issue for me either, there are many advantages to the 'detached exhaust tip' compared to the traditional stuck on pipe or muffler set up.
You also probably don't realize either that it's nothing new it's not just Mazda or Lexus but also upper end supercar manufacturers have being doing it this way for some time, it wouldn't be the case if it were such a bad thing
