Can you please describe the keyless go/start options?


Can I enter/start/open the trunk without touching the fob?

To open trunk is the hands free package which is not included in the keyless go/start feature. On a c400 it is $250

It also closes it electronically.

The answer is yes to all of your questions.

He asked about the key fob. You can open the trunk without touching the key fob. To open the trunk without touching the car or key fob (wave you foot under the trunk) you will need the Hands free package.

I think the additional aspect he covered was the fact that you can open the trunk by hand with the key fob in your pocket.

To open it without touching anything (still w/ fob in pocket), the extra package is needed.

lol, You did not answer the question the OP asked.

I only quoted your post to clarify your answer in an effort to reduce the chances of the OP thinking that he would have to pay for the "Hands Free package" to get the features that the he asked about.

Keyless Start - You unlock your doors using your key. You start the car by pushing the
"Start/Stop" button.

Keyless Go - Full keyless entry to the vehicle and trunk. You can lock, unlock, and open your trunk as long as the key is on you.

HandsFree Access - Power trunk closer and the ability to open/close the trunk by "kicking" your foot under the rear bumper.
