Thats a lot of weight. If that weight isn't included on the 3924 thats going to tip it to 4k. Ouch. Im glad i didn't opt for it. The performance seats probably save a little bit of weight.
Its kinda surprising that the car is so heavy. Not one reviewer complained about the weight

MB does a really good job hiding the weight by tuning the engine and suspension. When I first test drove an E55 back in '11 I could tell immediately, did not feel like a 4100+ lb. car. Now I have a E63S which is not only heavier, but still more agile and responsive than the E55. The extra 200+ lbs. does not matter.
AMG does a good job on these heavy sedans.

So in Germany the C63s weighs 1730 kilos but that includes a fuel tank @ 90% full and a driver who weighs 68 kilos and 7 kilos of luggage.
In lbs that would be 3806 lbs - 165 lbs = 3641 lbs with gas at 90%

I'm not happy about the ECO button on the E63S, but if you can't avoid it (guzzler tax) without having that sort of mechanism...so be it. ECO start/stop is listed in C63S features.

With today's technologies and current environmental pressures, I highly doubt MB's new twin turbo, with multiple gas saving features, will result in a gas guzzler tax. See excerpt from the service manual:
"The design of the gas exchange process and the charge movement of the M177 provides for low fuel consumption.....
Also, the "Sailing" function is now also available for the first time on an AMG vehicle in transmission mode "C". This causes the engine to be decoupled from the drivetrain, e.g. on extended downhill stretches, so that the vehicle then coasts with the engine at idle speed. This effectively reduces fuel consumption."

As long as the car doesn't smell like an Abercrombie & Fitch retail store, it just might work
