Welcome to the forum and congrats on your decision to get an AMG C63S.
Did you get the chance to test drive one?
BTW you got the two best options; NSP & performance exhaust but no c/f spoiler?

Yes - I managed to test drive one, well it was just the C63 and not the S version but it gave me all I needed to know. Incredible machine. Whilst I was on a test drive the agent said I could push the car a bit (within reason) and I have to admit that I will need to get used the rear wheel drive only. The handling characteristics are completely different to my S4 with AWD (obviously) but those differences in character, are what seem to make it such an awesome "feeling" car. Plus obviously the abundance of raw power. Everyone on here is already talking about adding tunes to their cars and waiting on their releases... I'll simply be happy getting used to a RWD 510+ BHP monster for a good 6-12 months before I contemplate a tune. The car is already stronger than my 510BHP Audi S4 Stage 2 car is, as stock. So for now, I'm just going to let the love sink in for a while!

Yeah looking at all the pics on here the NSP option just looked so good. Well worth it - in my eyes anyway. The performance exhaust option I also just had to have. The idea of flaps and extra noise just makes me weak at the knees!

No I did not opt for any of the carbon fibre options only because the only carbon fibre I would want on the car is the spoiler, not a fan of it in chrome. But I wasn't sure what else the options would add so left them off. I will look to get just the spoiler aftermarket and have this fitted in CF or another. Along with some Xpel film protection, if I can find someone local.
My only problem right now.... is waiting for the car! :-(

Is the 360 cam available now?? I thought I saw it was not for a while?

Jp, there is a new thread where people complain about the wipers shattering/skipping over the windshield. Any thoughts/comments? Is there a Bosch replacement available?

I saw that and honestly I have no comment about Bosch. Sometimes the wipers being cleaned with rubbing alcohol or glass cleaner on a rag will do the trick. The blades could simply be dirty. Mine have made noise but that has done the trick to stop the noise.

I have always used Bosch blades on all previous cars so if they have one that fits - I'll certainly be buying them

Very nice! I am selling my 2011 Stage 2 S4 now for a 2012 C63 P31. I drove it yesterday and the handling is definetely different. Your new car is even faster. Will be crazy!

I must say I have absolutely loved my S4. The stage 2 mods were a massive change from 350BHP to 510BHP in 1 swoop. I remember driving out the shop and the first time I floored it, it was like WTF!!! Its been amazing to drive and own it these last 2 years but I must say AWD cars take away that FEEL you get. Its almost too precise and too stable, and the amazing traction control + AWD makes you almost lazy... You can floor it in 2nd gear around a traffic circle and the traction control just keeps delivering the exact amount of power needed with the most amount of grip levels given to keep you going around and around that circle at the fastest possible speed hanging from your belt buckle - foot flat, 510BHP, complete control, no slipping or sliding or movement. Technically... awesome and amazing. Feel and pleasure - really LOW. Sounds ridiculous right?
Then I bought my wife her RWD SLK, and that litte 1.8T - okay with a custom engine and gearbox tune and intercooler, is amazing fun and feel factor! Since then my hearts been set on finding the next car. And the C63S is delivering on all accounts - and I don't even have it yet

Anyway - apologies for all the waffle, probably irritating some folk on here so I'll say cheers and best of luck with your new toy. Wish you many safe and pleasurable years mate!

Hey Will - to be honest im not really sure of the prod date - reason being, MB messed me around a bit and I kicked up a fuss with MB Head Office. Basically saying why would I want to move from Audi with cr@p service from MB as I had experienced... etc. MB Head Office asked to deal with it and they sourced me a car that was mid way through Production and said I could spec change it as I saw fit.
They told me the car would then be delivered roughly within the first week of Sept. To my surprise it arrived this morning... with all the spec changes I requested. To be fair a lot of the spec I wanted was already on and in the car![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Going to go see it tonight and then hopefully I can take it on the weekend if all goes well.

BTW I ordered mine (MY2016) on May 14 and it should get to my dealer in about 2-3 weeks. It's currently in production.

I'm going to go see it in a couple of hours and will get the finer details. At the time MB Head Office went to a lot of trouble to get me this car, I'm not going to kick a gift horse in the mouth.
