Post the tires that your C63 came with. Plus what country you're from
The C63S Edition 1 at the David Morris dealership (Edmonton Canada) which i saw yesterday had Michelin Pilot Sport tires.

The gentleman that took delivery of the black C63 S had Dunlop Sport Maxx RT tires (max performance summer tires).
From what I've read on them, they seem to be a pretty high-quality tire. They're often compared to Michelin PSS, Bridgestone Pole Positions, Continental ContiSportContact 5Ps, Continental ExtremeContact DW, etc.

Anyone have a ranking of the best and worst tires we should hope for on the C63S? I suspect they'll all get beat about the same but if one is better than others, I'd like to light some incense to the tire gods for that set.

Best = Michelin Pilot Super Sport. It's the gold standard of max performance summer tires. Each tire model has its strengths and weaknesses though. For example, the Continental ExtremeContact DW has scored better than the PSS in terms of wet grip/performance.Originally Posted by Iceman II

All of the max performance summer tires will have great grip during summer daily driving conditions. Some will have better "road manners" than others (i.e., they'll be less noisy, they'll soak up road imperfections more easily, etc.).
Very Good = Continental ContiSportContact 5P, Dunlop Sport Maxx RT, Continental ExtremeContact DW, Bridgestone Potenza S-04 Pole Position, etc.
All of the max performance summer options are going to be very solid, especially if they're from reputable manufacturers like Michelin, Continental, Dunlop, Pirelli, Bridgestone, etc.
Worst? If someone manages to get a C63 with all-season tires or RFTs. I just don't see that happening, period.

Let's hope there's some logic behind the decision to ship "what" tires "where." I know, I know -- we're talking about MBUSA but here's to hoping.
I would hope all California cars would get the Michelin Pilot Super Sport.MBWorld Fanatic!
I honestly don't care what tires my car comes with lol

MICHELIN Pilot Super Sport. Can't see where made?

I have a feeling on US Cars that we will see all the E1's come with Michelins and the rest will have the Dunlops.

lol. Does it really matter? I think the average is still 8K to 10K per set right? I'm not sure any of these tires will last more than 10K.

Any of you know of any good all seasons for the black E1 19 inch rims?

Dunlops.... USA.
Still in break-in period.... so no idea on traction... although I can say it seems to be a challenge
