C63S Ed1 vs F8X M3

Finally got a chance to ride shot gun in a new M4, previously had only heard them drive past on a couple of occasions.
With regards to engine note:
It does sound good from within the cabin (that would be due to the synthetic acoustic fix) we now all know about.
However from outside the vehicle (especially from directly behind) it sounds absolutely terrible...really I cannot find a similar sound to be able to describe it to someone who hasn't heard it, I used to compare it to a washing machine before this but it sounds different and worse even compared to a washing machine.
BMW really need to make a fix to this in their next update, it really does put a lot of people off.
Eagerly awaiting more controlled timed runs from the new gen C63's, the differently geared new coupe should turn some quick times

The M3 in the videos has custom downpipes... I believe the C63 S was also at less than 250kms when the test was done... The exhaust note of the C63 changes after you get a few more kms (miles) on it.
Here is another video...
Looks like it's the same two guys

Both really
It sounds quite loud insane, and INSANELY loud from the outside! Especially when you lift off the throttle at around 4000rpm, it barks!
I'm still not entirely sure if I like the noise, for now I'd just say it's really loud and in no way like a lawn mower as we all joke around about it sounding like one.
