While I mostly agree you also have to respect that this was the first run posted with a new car that's probably not broken in yet, no launch control used, at the end of May when its usually hot. Wait until someone gets one running at atco in December with launch control for a glory run that you can compare to previous cars running 11's and adding drag radials will only help with all that torque. I expect this car to hit a 10 with bolt ons, drag radials and a race gas tune especially if run in the north east.

Max - Fair enough. If you've been driving an 11 sec car as a daily, it's no big deal to ya. I'm thrilled to join the 11 sec club... and see where this goes!
Ezec -Let's see where this new platform goes.
The real fun will happen when the real car guys get these TT cars after they have depreciated..... and start the serious mods.

I have about 700 on him so far. However, I will be taking it to the 1/4 mile soon. Also, I will be either running 93 or race fuel when I do it. HEHE

11s is nothing new and its really not that fast now that you got hellcats and E63 S running low 11s and already 10s easily and countless others now. I guess you don't know how many AMG's and other cars have been running 11s since 2003…. You're pretty far behind if you think that it just happened now.
11s is very fast and respectable but, its not ground breaking anymore. That was 12 years ago.

How many factory stock cars under 100k were running 11's? Let alone sedans. The way you word it sounds as accords and camrys were even squeaking 12's from the factory in 2003.
the 2003 Cobra - was capable of 12's from the factory with a good driver.
The C5 Z06 - 11's were only possible in the hands of the few, i.e. ranger and J-rod.
The Viper - Not as familiar with as the C5Z, but I am sure 11's were possible.
M5 - low 13's, maybe high 12's with an great driver and conditions.
E55 - 11's was surely not the norm for a stock E55.
RS6 - High 12s
Jag S-type R - 13's
2004 CTS-V - 13's (maybe 12's if the factory rear didn't blow)
We have now been spoiled with this new hyper performance generation of cars, but lets not have reality escape us.

Sure running 11's and 10's is not to difficult anymore, but running them from a bone stock show room floor car is a different story. And that is the reason why I think the comparison between a stock car and modified car is pointless.
Heck my 1994 Dodge Dakota run's 9's (wasn't too hard because of the combo) so is it fair to say that it's not to hard to get a 1994 Dakota to run 9's as a blanket statement?
