My Lunar Blue order has been placed!!!
I finally pulled the trigger and put down a deposit for my C63S! I placed the order on 5-25 and have an estimated production start date of mid August. I went with the following options.
890 Lunar Blue Metallic
811 Black Leather/w Grey
555 AMG Performance Seats
H73 Carbon Fiber Interior
P60 AMG Exterior Night Styling
662 AMG Cross Spoke Wheels in Black
U78 AMG Performance Exhaust
319 LED Lighting Package
320 Comand Nav Package
298 Side rear airbags
234 Blind spot Assist
I'm also undecided on the U93 Carbon Fiber Spoiler for $700. I'm pretty sure I'm not going with the Panorama roof $1480. I do think the Pano roof would look nice with the Night Styling package though.
I'm still debating on getting the full 997 Driver's Assist Package $2,800 versus the stand alone 234 Blind Spot Assist at $550 vs. neither.
Thoughts on that?
I have never had so much difficulty picking a car color in my life.
Honestly the pictures of JP's trainer's Lunar Blue is what sold me on the color and wheels.
If my car build date stays put what would be the best guess on delivery date? I'm in Southern California if that matters.
The only thing that will happen right away are clear bra on the front bumper and window tinting. I will most likely black out the emblems as well as paint the rear chrome strip Lunar Blue.

Very nice, Joel - I plan to order almost the exact same car, but with black ash interior trim.
I really love the Adaptive Cruise Control on my Audi S6; I wouldn't have opted for it, but it came with some other options I wanted, and I use it every day. Now I don't want to be without that feature, so 997 package for sure for me.

Sounds like an awesomely spec'ed car. I got distronic on my 507 (not by choice), and I absolutely love it. Between the distronic and the lighting I had to upgrade my E. Honestly I wouldn't want a car without it, and there is a GT-S without it at my dealer (which is probably a good thing it lacks a "must have").

The CF spoiler on the darker color cars is a 50/50 for me. I wanted the Illuminated Star so that is why I did not want the Driver Assistance Package.

Thanks the feedback guys. It is so easy to convince yourself to just keep adding on packages and features the more i think about it I really want the drivers assistance package. Not sure how im going to hold off on these things.
As a side note..... sales tax is going to suck badly on this purchase.

Hey Joel, I'm buying from Fletcher Jones in Newport Beach but they are pretty much the same as the Temecula dealer. I've had dark cars forever so I decided to switch it up a bit with the Polar White. So here is my (wife's) build :
I went back and forth with the night package and decided I like the chrome exhaust tips better. I'll end up with dark tint (35% or darker), wrapped window trim and side skirt, and carbon fiber mirror caps. Will keep the stock wheels until I can make up my mind on which black wheels work best on the car.
My guess is we'll have the only two S models in town -- for now.

That is like the opposite of my situation. I have had a lot of white cars and want a change to dark. You order sounds great!
I still have a long wait in front of me. I cant wait!

Hey Joel, are you still set for an August build? My dealer sent me a note while he was getting my order in, saying availability on the black wheels would push it to October. I'm guessing you got in before enough orders stacked up to delay them.
In the end, I shuffled my options a bit to get into 15/08-1 (just color/wheels/brakes/seats lol).
