Just got this reply today from MB Canada.


"Unfortunately, we are just as frustrated as you. Mbrace is a custom solution developed by MBUSA precisely for the lack of support we've experienced. Our Product Managers are subject to updates being issued by Germany, and with the changes required to support Car Play, we've been left in a bit of a lurch. It's not by any means an acceptable situation, and we're looking at developing our own solutions. Again, we're sorry we don't have better news."


I believe this is a deflection of the real problem and that is their inability to get a data deal with the Canadian carriers. Now they are blaming a feature promised in 2013 is being hindered by a MY2016 product (Car Play).

Yeah that's just what I needed, thanks!


1)Edition 1 arrived without decals, side stripes, spoiler. No notification.
Still mad that I was told by sales people spoiler was built in, and their 'AMG Expert' said this car don't come with spoiler, stripes etc. They treated me like an idiot! they should have just admit and apologise!! The sales manager even raised his voice on me when I questioned and told him e was not listening to me and he just kept yakking away!.


2)1 AMG Affalterbach Crest key cover compared with US 2 AMG key covers
3)No collapsible storage try tray(US do)
4)No Cargo net(US do)
5)No iPod USB cable(US do)


6)And when my decals and stripes finally came they mounted it poorly(one mirror red decal slanting), side stripes ,mounted too high compared with factory's(no doubt they offered to re do but it's the inconvenience and impression). I am still waiting to have it done.


And they don't know that there was a 3000km diff oil change(I had to discover and asked many times)


And they told me this service was not included in the PPM!(until some of you helped provide info)


And the service manager always have someone else to call me eventhough my emails were directed to him without CCing anyone else.


And we paid more in Canada.


Ther. My 1st AMG and impression of this dealership!


I think I have reached my limit of tolerance. Is this the AMG experience they were talking about?

Sounds like your issues are with the Dealership and not AMG
