I agree. I think it looks really nice now with the wrap. Leave it for now and don't sacrifice the look to go with cheap CF pieces. I would not trust a random dealer to match the CF on your trunk spoiler. In fact, I would want to touch them and hold them against the car to make sure they match. Who's selling the pieces now?

I just click once to unlock and click and hold again to roll down the windows. Same process to lock and roll up the windows.

I decided to wait. I haven't seen any quality pictures of CF mirror covers and I don't want to buy it and find out its much lighter (gray looking) than my CF trunk spoiler. I'm dragging my feet to see if someone else will post pics.

No new updates. Still waiting on a quality CF side mirror cover to be released. New rims might be in the works in the spring and I'm still hoping for a breakthrough on the ECU OBDII tune. I'm seeing some good results with the piggyback tunes so we'll see what the reviews bring after the new year.
As for the C63S vs M4 -- apples to oranges IMHO. Sedan versus Coupe. It's subjective and both cars are great but the C63S is raw and more my taste. The sound and power both lead to a totally different experience and feeling. The M3 is a better comparison but still not quite what I want in a car. I also prefer the sleeper look with the heart and sound of a beast. The M3 says look at me while the C63S says listen to me and watch this. People are not really sure what to think of the car when they see it because there aren't too many of them out there where I live. They know it's special and different -- especially when I roll up to a stop light in S+ and the exhaust is announcing my arrival.

On 2016's C class USAA rebate (all C class for that matter) was $3K...that is what was honored when I purchased mine in October. I used their buying service, financing and have their insurance. Don't know if that increased the amount or not. Also was able to further negotiate the off of the sticker price of the car to an additional $5K off.

Rebellion Piggyback Installed
So I decided to go with Rebellion piggyback tune since OBDII might be sometime out in the future (way out in the future). My initial thoughts:
1. Right away I noticed the car had a different sound as though I started it in S+ mode with the performance exhaust on. Initially I thought it was just me so as we were departing to run some errands, I looked for my wife's reaction after I started the car. She noticed it and definitely was impressed. She immediately asked if I had the back windows open. Nope.
2. I'm not sure what it is but the throttle appears to be ready and heightened in "Comfort" mode. In fact, I intentionally left the car in comfort to get use to the power. OMG--the response is there and the power is there. I'm now adjusting my approach to driving the car as it doesn't take much to get the car moving in comfort.
3. S+ mode is total beast. Again, the exhaust note seems much greater than before. I've only used it once on the freeway since the install. I had a Camaro (with hood dome -- not sure which version) attempt to catch me on the freeway. Not even close and I suspect he slowly pumped the brakes as I quickly pulled away. The acceleration is noticeable and much quicker than before.
4. I drove my usual route in the morning to the fitness center, which is about 4 miles from my house. Stock I got about 15.7 MPG in comfort mode. Today, I got 15.8 MPG in comfort. Again, not reading too much into this but with the extra boost, I haven't seen any MPG change -- yet. I'm putting about 100 highway miles on it Saturday so it will be interesting to see how the car responds.
After I travel I plan get on a dyno for three runs. Unfortunately, I don't have any stock numbers but at least I'll get a good idea of where I am in regards to the claimed figures from Rebellion. I'm in California and using 91 octane so I suspect my numbers are a bit lower than what was promised with 93. We'll see. Oh yeah, I also suspect I'll need new rears sooner than later.
BTW, I should add I had the harness professionally installed by a highly reputable shop and my guy tells me the harness was a b**** to install. He's an authorized Dinan dealer and installs everything on anything. He got the piggy installed on my car but it wasn't in 15 minutes.

This is the only thing putting me off getting one - I spoke to a guy in the Uk who sits a similar product and he reckons a good hour and a half to get the thing fitted.
I would want to remove it when it goes in for service work

Yep, my concern. My install guy has a really good relationship with my service advisor and has sent many "tuned" MBs to him for maintenance with no problems. A potential issue surfaces when there is a potential engine-related problem. I have an agreement with my install guy that I go to him first for any CELs to determine what it is before going in for service.
My first PPM service is in about 4K miles so I'll have a decision to make at that point. At the moment, I don't plan to remove it. We'll see.

Great thread, I have read it over and realized you are doing what has been in my head as far as mods.
Great review of the piggyback. I was planning on getting one down the road for track days. The long install vs the 15 minute one is a huge factor.
Did you notice and adaptation period like it getting stronger over the past few days? Or was it WOW power right away to match the sound

Loving the build thus far. Looking forward to seeing your dyno results!
Hopefully we can have an OBDII solution for our ECU tune much sooner than later!
