Mercedes-Benz 2016 C63S
Oh nice I didn't know, congrats!!! I've found the major constraints on Benzes are in the tuning. Do you know if these have forged internals from the factory or do you have to get a special package like the P31 in the W204 C63 to get forged pistons? I picked up a 2015 Audi S5 as a daily in November. Styling and interior are amazing but it lacks power. Does great for the snow we get up here though
They dyno'd stock at 350BHP. With a simple remap, air intake, and super charger pulley, the 2nd dyno was 500BHP. It is a completely different car with a mass of power and the AWD and traction control makes traction and handling almost autonomous. Which in snowy conditions would be what you want. For me, I'm now looking for something that moves around a little and isn't so technically good. Something to consider?

Correct drivetrain loss for a front engine rear wheel drive is optimistically AT BEST 15%. This flak of 12% or less is nonsense... There is no way. The cars are just underrated from the factory on paper... 15% is the correct number

Tuning
My 15' C63 S after a RennTech ECU tune, blow off valves and air filter (only ECU added power, the rest was for smooth performing) I'm putting out 611WHP and a smoother power band, all for roughly 4K meanwhile the BRABUS ECU which is rated around the same power boost cost 9k alone plus turbo upgrades etc to get you to 650hp with installation costs roughly 18-19k with labor so choose wisely my friends. https://youtu.be/lV8ohcijqfs

The lowest possible drivetrain loss for a front engine rear wheel drive car is 15%... Anyone that says otherwise is completely full of it and has no clue what they a re talking about.
A mid engine Lamboeghini with a super efficient transaxle has about a 12% drivetrain loss (dyno verified). Most auto front engine rear wheel drive cars have on avg 17-18% loss
