Pricing for 2016 C63S
#5
i work at the Mercedes Benz dealer in Honolulu and we have only had 2 arrive with 5 orders waiting including mine. For us all the cars are being sold at the MSRP price. There are no factory rebates on this car so any discount will be coming out of the dealers pocket. Best bet is to find a dealer that has more than 1 or 2 in stock. Other than that the manager knows someone will buy it at MSRP making it hard to negotiate the price. Well thats just my 2 cents.

I ended up with $2k off MSRP but another dealer tried to get $12k over MSRP until I laughed at him and left.
Credit unions that work with True Car buying service are giving $3700 off MSRP but they mess with you about delivery dates.

Mine was cash with no trade. You are correct if there is a trade or financing they can move money around.

They say invoice is $79316 and fair market price is $83618.
They don't have the dealer paid ad fee on this so it might be $700-$800 higher if MB does it like Lexus with about 1% fee.
Dealer should show you the invoice.

So I test drove the C63S and wow, it's a beast. I've been waiting to get back into a car with a stick but this may change my opinion. I love the HUD with the red-line shift indicator. I don't have to take my eyes off the road. The AMG performance seat was wonderful, hugging me well while taking tighter turns. The burrling sound of the V8 was great with just the normal exhaust, I can't imagine with the Performance exhaust. The adaptive suspension worked well in comfortable all the way up to Sports+, though it wasn't as drastic of a difference than i expected (i'm coming from a car with coilover so it's definitely a different feeling). The V8 engine can really gun it. The transmission, though pretty fast, isn't as fast as Audi's or BMW's DSG, but i love the fact that it won't auto shift you if you hit the redline point. Fit and finish is ahead of Audi's and BMWs. Way ahead. Only downside about this whole this is, my wife has a C400 and I'm not certain if I want to have two nearly identical vehicles in the family.
With that said, pricing that was given to me was MSRP, though I do have a $2500 fleet discount so that helps, but it sounds like they are willing to drop the price a bit more if i'm committed since I did purchase the C400 for my wife just last winter.
I did ask about ED and they said it's a 7% discount from US MSRP. I checked MB's website and the C63S isn't listed as one of the model that can be ED.
It's unfortunate and sad to say that most of the people there know less about the performance/packages of the vehicle than I do. I had to correct them on some of the details. The sale's manager even made a comment and said "you should work for us" and I'm thinking, you guys should just read and train your employees...
