200mph in a C63

Somehow I have the feeling, that the car is quicker than my RENNtech GT-S

See b-boost and here:

Assuming this video is running in real time, then by my stop watch, the car goes from 0-200 KPH (over 124 MPH) in under 11 seconds. That is insane given that the car stock likely does the 1/4 mile in the high 11 to low 12 second range and likely at about 120 MPH (or perhaps significantly slower if you believe that ridiculous C&D test ;-).

If this is just a tune that will run on pump gas, we have a lot to look forward to.

Someone needs to run that same car or another with the same tune over the 1/4 mile, would love to see the time

As above just from clocking the dials that is easily a 10 second car !!!

This car is a C63 non S and was running our ECU tune on 98 RON octane fuel (93 aki).
Stay tuned, more to come shortly :-)

So what can you do with a C63S on pump gas?

For now up to 835Nm torque at crank (a plus of 185Nm for the non S respectively 135 for the S) and around 610hp, which is a plus of around 100hp for the non S and 65-70 for the S.
Talking about real world crank numbers, non some XX% drivetrain losses guess.

When will this be available and can we install through the OBD II port?

335d xDrive, C63S on order
I take it there's nothing different in the engine bay like better cooling or turbos for the S to allow it to ship with more bhp, it's just got a higher tune out of the factory?

Obviously still get an electronic diff, dynamic engine mounts and so on but maybe if that doesn't interest you a base C63 and tune might be the way to go as you end up with the same power in the end.

Don't forget that the c63s has the "Race" setting.

They might be able to code that in but does it offer anything that you couldn't configure in Indiviual for the C63? ESP goes to Sport but that apparently is available on the C63 as well.

Engine goes to race as well which maybe they cannot select but what does that do over sport+?

If you bring your C63 or GT (both non S) to our HQ in Germany or FL, we can flash the Race mode into the ECU (car is needed).

You will still miss the active engine / transmission mounts and the electronic diff naturally , but you will have a sharper throttle response and the transmission mode is a "mixture" of S+ and M.
So, it will stay in the manually selected gear unless you break hard, hit the rev limiter or kick down.

I've ordered a C63S but interesting to know you can code Race mode in. That and boosting the performance of a C63 beyond an S might sway some peoples buying choices.

Some tunes give greater top end performance but at the expense of slower city driving not being as smooth. Is your tune good at all ends of the scale? It's possible I might not want to go 200mph everywhere

A friend of mine got his C63 non S wagon quite a while ago, first he tried 4 different piggyback systems but all produced some issues. A few weeks ago I told him to try the RENNtech reflash and he is very happy with it, using the car as a daily driver. In Germany also one of the important things is to have a TUV approval for a tune to have it street- and insurane-legal. At this point I think only RENNtech has this done, quite sure BRABUS will come out with this shortly a well.
Personally I am very happy that RENNtech is now officially on the European market, looking forward to order the C63 Coupe and getting a 700hp+ tune on it
